We want to first thank you for being a valued and continuing client of AZ Southwest CPA Services, PLLC!
Amid the announcements and guidelines surrounding the Coronavirus/COVID-19, we want you to know that AZ Southwest CPA Services has robust technology options, including a client portal for elevated security in exchanging documents and finished work product (like tax returns) with clients. We encourage you to use that option when possible.
We are also actively monitoring the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the IRS, Arizona Department of Revenue, and local/regional news sources. We are continually analyzing how this information and data may affect financial and tax matters for you as a client.
For now, year 2021 income tax return due dates are initially expected to stay as April 15, 2022. This may change as it did in the prior two tax years. The essential services of filing tax returns still remain in place, and you are encouraged to file the return or a regular 6-month extension as soon as you are able as the details of new filing/ payment date have not been updated.
Furthermore, there is currently only reasonable regulatory limit on our firm, such as following best hygiene practices in the office. So, we are still available to help you with tax matters through these dynamic times by appointment if handling your tax needs in person is a preference. We are available for tax consultations at pre-arranged times during normal business hours. But, please keep in mind that we need to limit our office occupancy to less than 10 staff and clients at any given time. As we have 6 staff members, we highly recommend making an appointment beforehand to ensure we can meet with you upon arrival.
In the spirit of current guidelines, we highly encourage all our clients to take advantage of AZ Southwest CPA Services’ online portal system mentioned above, which allows clients to upload their tax documents from the comforts of home with elevated security.
